Word of South, entering its eleventh year, is a festival devoted to books and music and every combination thereof. The festival has featured artists such as Ann Patchett, Sheila E, Rick Moody, Jeff VanderMeer, Bob Shacochis, Jason Isbell, Robert Olen Butler, Lauren Groff, John T. Edge, John Paul White, Rita Coolidge, and a host of others. Word of South Festival is held each April in Tallahassee, Florida’s Cascades Park.
